You have numerous options for getting in touch with the club: if you have somebody in mind to speak to, use the email addresses listed on the committee page. The main club email is email@example.com and we are quite quick in replying to queries. If you prefer, you can message the club on our Facebook page. Alternatively, during term time you can simply turn up at a session and speak to any of the current members.
Directions for York Students on Campus
As you've probably seen, we train at York Sport Village on the far side of the Heslington East Campus. For Goodricke, Constantine and Langwith students, this is a very short walk via the path that goes through Langwith - you'll struggle to miss it. For those on main campus, you can get the 66 bus from outside Wentworth, Library Bridge or Heslington Hall. If you're in Halifax or James College, you may find it more convenient to catch the UB1, although it stops running much earlier. See the First York website for times for both buses. For Water Polo players going to Archbishop’s Holgate school, those on Heslington West can head up University Road until they get to Hull Road, then walk down in the opposite direction to the City Centre until you get to the school. For the first few sessions captains will walk freshers from University to Archbishop Holgate’s school.
Directions for Visitors
York Sport Village should appear on satellite navigation, with its postcode being YO10 5FG. For those coming to York without a satnav, leave the A64 where there is a junction with the A1079. From there the Sports Village is signposted making it easy to find. For Archbishop Holgate’s School, the postcode is YO10 5ZA. To find it by road, turn off the A64 at the same junction as you would for the Sports Village, then continue down Hull Road until you reach the school.
